Small Businesses Struggling to Pay Rent Apply for Honolulu Grant Program

Honolulu Mayor Kirk Caldwell says thousands have applied for Honolulu’s expanded Small Business Relief and Recovery Fund since it launched Monday. Nestor Calucag is one of them. For him, sanitization and cleanliness are second nature. “I also spray the gym with electro-static disinfectant. I do it every week. It’s a Clorox 360 and that’s the same process that the hospital is using,” he said. “It’s supposed to be good for 90 days, but I do it weekly to be proactive, I guess the more it’s better.”
