Wapello County Emergency Management Receives Grants for COVID Mitigation

The Iowa Economic Development funding will allow purchase of 12 portable sanitizing stations, 4 portable handwashing stations, disinfectant and a Clorox 360 cleaning machine that can be loaned to public safety departments to sanitize common surfaces. “All of these items are important components in preventing the spread of COVID-19. This equipment will address not only these needs, but will also continue to provide practical, sustainable solutions into the future after the pandemic is over.”
